Yes. Open c2paviewer.com/?url= followed by the URL-encoded https address of an image or video file, and the viewer verifies it as soon as the page loads. The link must point at the file itself, not at a web page showing it. Whoever opens the link re-verifies the live file in their own browser; nothing is stored. Running a check from the From URL tab produces the same link in your address bar, and a ‘Copy link to this check’ button appears next to the result. The absence of C2PA data does not automatically mean a file is fake or has been tampered with. It simply means that its provenance has not been recorded using C2PA standards. This may be because the creation tool did not support C2PA or the feature was not enabled.
